Privacy Policy

Introduction
Sportami™ ("Sportami," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Toutami, Inc.. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at https://sportami.com.
Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Usage Data: Pages visited, time spent, referral sources, browser type, device information, and IP address.
- Analytics Data: Aggregated and anonymized data collected through analytics services to understand how our site is used.
- Cookies: We use essential cookies for site functionality and analytics cookies to improve our service. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
- Account Information: If you create an account, we collect the information you provide such as email address and display name.
How We Use Your Information
- To operate and maintain the website
- To improve user experience and content quality
- To analyze usage patterns and optimize performance
- To communicate with you about your account or inquiries
- To comply with legal obligations
Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Analytics data is retained in anonymized form.
Cookies & Tracking
We group the technologies we use into two categories. You control the second one.
- Strictly necessary (always on): a small number of first-party cookies and local storage entries required to operate the site — your sign-in and session (Supabase authentication), basic security, your theme preference, and a record of the cookie choice you make below. These do not track you across sites and cannot be switched off.
- Analytics: we use Plausible, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service that measures aggregate traffic only — it sets no cookies, stores no persistent identifiers, and does not track you across sites — so it runs by default to count visits. We also use PostHog, an optional product-analytics service that stores an identifier in your browser's local storage; PostHog is loaded only after you grant consent. If you choose "necessary only" (or reject non-essential cookies), PostHog is not loaded and no analytics identifier is stored — cookieless Plausible continues to count aggregate visits but stores nothing on your device and cannot identify you.
When you first visit, a non-blocking banner lets you Accept all, Reject non-essential, or Customize your choice. Your decision is stored in your browser (and a matching first-party cookie) so we remember it on future visits.
Global Privacy Control (GPC): if your browser sends a GPC signal, we honor it as an opt-out of non-essential analytics — PostHog (and any other consent-gated tracker) is not loaded and we record that preference without showing a banner. Cookieless Plausible continues to count aggregate visits.
Changing your choice: you can update your preferences at any time using the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the site footer, which reopens the consent controls.
Your Privacy Choices (California / CCPA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, gives you rights over your personal information, including the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.
- We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- You can opt out of non-essential analytics at any time via the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the footer.
- We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request.
To exercise your California privacy rights, contact us at legal@toutami.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services for analytics, hosting, and content delivery. These services may collect information in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at legal@toutami.com and we will promptly delete it.
